I am truly grateful to earn your trust each year. We know how much trust goes into the decisions we help you manage. With that comes a great responsibility and we will continue to hold ourselves to the highest standard of integrity and transparency. Our company started in 2008 in Fresno, CA as a commercial insurance office. Today we are three company divisions: Kerr Insurance Brokers, Inc. Kerr Wealth Management (Inc.) and Kerr Payroll Solutions, LLC. Our growth is a direct result of hard work, exhausting research, planning and strong customer relationships. The Kerr Company strives for absolute excellence and accountability to others and ourselves.
This is my 11th year as the CEO of the Kerr Companies and my 11th year as an optimistic entrepreneur. In our business, we compete with some of the largest companies in the world consisting of publicly traded companies and regional companies ranging from custodians, investment firms, insurance companies and payroll providers. I am proud to say that we compete fiercely while serving over 900 business customers across all divisions of our company. For the past 36 months, our retention rate is 98.9%.
The rapid rate of change, technology advances and traditional ways of doing business might well be gone. Amazon is a great example of that. I can order something at 6pm and have it delivered the next day by noon. It is this expeditious trend that is changing the business landscape and perhaps for the worst. The trend of deflating prices for the sake of gaining customers is leading a world to less jobs, lower paid college graduates, less skilled workers and lack of quality. At any one of our Kerr divisions, it is our goal to remain competitive but also provide a high touch and valued human relationship. However, we cannot do that at rock bottom prices but we can do it at a reasonable price with exceptional service.
As a business owner yourself I know you understand. It is like the old saying, “you get what you pay for!” At the Kerr Companies, we will continue to press forward with traditional values while balancing modern technology and transparent pricing.
